'Download' the File Template and its built (bound) Google Script Module:
- When you click on the link to the sample file (LINK HERE WHEN TIME COMES) a Google Spreadsheet will open in your browser.
- It will be in a read only/view only mode.
- From the file menu of that file that opened, you will select "File > Make a Copy"
- When you do that, another tab will open up in your browser with the same file in it, staring out with the words "Copy of " in the file name.
- That is your copy and it was saved to the root of your Google Drive just that fast.
- Rename it if you'd like by clicking on the file name in the upper left corner of the file and tack on "_original" to whatever name you give it. Never touch this file other than for reference.
- Make a second copy for a working copy.
- See Technical > Documents for education and naming suggestions
'Download' the unbound Google Script Module
- Click here (Link to be provided when time comes) to open a copy of the Library.
- Save in your root drive or preferred folder.
- See Technical > Documents for education and naming suggestions
Connect the unbound Google Script Project to your file template via the Bound Google Script project tied to the file template. ...
- This takes about 1-2 minutes to do, but there are a handful of steps to it.
- See Technical > Documents for step by step details
Authorize the File
- So as not to get surprised with an Authorization later, do something in the file to cause it to ask for authorization. Click anything on the DIY1 menu to do that or click the refresh button on Nav1 tab.
- See Technical > Documents for step by step details on this. It's rightfully terrify. We explain that to you in the documentation.
OOPS... we haven't included connections to customer module or psops module yet?! We'll have to do a mockup on products...
IF you get this far, you will have a private, working copy of the software on your google drive.
- Play with it
- Then wipe out the data, fill in your own and start enjoying the benefits of free software for life OR take a bigger step and download the Customer/Patients modules and the PSOPs modules and setup a modular software system that will get you prepped to add the Point of Sale System later, if you so choose.
